During our retro fair in Dessel, English is spoken very often. A few words for our English-speaking friends are therefore in order. Especially for you, English-speaking visitors and supporters, here are some explanations about the thirteenth edition of the Retrofietsbeurs Dessel.

Since 2013, the fair has been held in the parish center of Dessel-Witgoor. The compactness of the center gives it its charm and cozy atmosphere.

As every year, most exhibitors will be in the main hall and on the stage, and a few others in three smaller rooms. All spaces have, of course, been fully booked for quite some time! Around fifty exhibitors from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, England, and Germany will present a varied range: individual parts, clothing, complete bicycles, wheels, books, collectibles, photos, and much more.

At the bar, you can also find sandwiches, soup, and local beers. It’s not uncommon for old acquaintances to meet there and for spontaneous cheerful conversations about vintage bicycles to arise.
Don’t hesitate to come and have a look – or stay a little longer. Perhaps that rare item is waiting for you at one of the stalls…
The Retrobeurs Dessel takes place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
The parish center has ample parking and is located at Meistraat 150, 2480 Dessel. We hope to see you there in large numbers!
